British Airways Prepares Return To Dubai

British Airways is preparing to restore direct flights between London Heathrow and Dubai on 3 November, marking another step towards the recovery of international air connections disrupted by instability in the Middle East. The planned resumption comes as several European airlines gradually reintroduce services to the United Arab Emirates ahead of the important winter tourism season.
According to the airline's published schedule, flight BA105 is expected to depart Heathrow at 8.05pm on 3 November and arrive in Dubai at 7.45am the following morning. The return service, BA104, is scheduled to depart Dubai at 10am on 4 November. British Airways initially plans to operate daily flights, restoring a significant connection between one of Europe's busiest aviation hubs and the Gulf's principal international tourism market.
Other airlines are preparing similar resumptions. Lufthansa plans to restart five weekly services from both Frankfurt and Munich on 25 November, while SWISS expects to restore daily flights between Zurich and Dubai on the same date. Eurowings is also preparing to resume flights from Berlin. These developments follow an extended period of route disruption that reduced travel options for passengers and affected tourism-related businesses.
The restoration of international services could help hotels, retailers and tourism operators benefit from stronger visitor demand during Dubai's cooler months. Direct European connections are particularly important for leisure travellers, business visitors and passengers connecting through major aviation hubs. Nevertheless, schedules remain vulnerable to changing security conditions. Airlines will continue assessing operational risks as they restore capacity, making the durability of the recovery dependent on regional stability.
